Fernando Manso Photographer

Prologue by Antonio López

Fernando Manso doesn´t fit into the stereotype of the photographer, his eagerness exceeds the norm and he always looks for something out of the way. Through his lens, he offers extraodinary details the way only photography can, and that is enormously important.

Sometimes in nature there are special times when things happen that we are not used to seeing, the unusual, the instant when a revelation occurs, and those are the moments when Fernando Manso works, like very few creators, and in a very personal way.

There are many ways of representing light and his photographs remind me of Caspar David Friedrich; they are touched by that evocative spirit of German Romanticism, its restraint, which reconciles the uproar of idealism with a beautiful harmony and serenity."
